What CanadaPivot is

CanadaPivot assembles public trade data for Canadian exporters: which products the U.S. tariff lists reach, where else those products sell, and the public programs that help you get there. It also hosts a conversation where members compare notes. Using the site means you accept these terms.

The data, and its limits

Figures come from public sources: Statistics Canada, UN Comtrade, US Customs and Border Protection, the Harmonized Tariff Schedule, Peru's customs administration (SUNAT) and the Bank of Canada. We process them carefully but publish as-is, without warranty of accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Values cover 6-digit HS families while legal tariff scope is set at the 8 to 10 digit level; program details change on their agencies' schedules.

Nothing on this site is legal, tax, customs, or financial advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Verify against official sources (CBSA, CBP, USITC, the program pages we link) before acting. To the extent permitted by law, CanadaPivot is not liable for decisions made, or losses incurred, in reliance on the site.

Accounts and the conversation

Sign-in uses an emailed code or link; there are no passwords. You pick the name shown on your posts. You are responsible for activity under your sign-in.

Posts, replies, and votes are public. You own what you write and grant CanadaPivot a non-exclusive licence to display it on the site and in notifications. Do not post confidential business information, personal data about others, spam, advertising, impersonation, or unlawful or abusive content. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules, with or without notice. You can delete your own posts at any time; the Report link flags a post for review.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the service evolves; the date above tells you when. Material changes will be noted on the site. These terms are governed by the laws of Canada. Questions: hello@canadapivot.com.
